Happy Memorial Day to everyone that has served in our armed forces!! Thank you Grandpa Porter, Grandpa Powers, Russ, Dad, Uncle Mike, Neil, Brandon and anyone I forgot.
We celebrated Memorial Day by going to a flag pole dedication outside our church. It was a very nice ceremony and the flag raising and lowering was done by the Civil Air Patrol, which my nephew Andrew happens to be the leader (I can't remember his actual title) of. The boys wore their scout uniforms and they had speakers that talked about the service of our men and women in the armed forces.
