I just down loaded some pictures from my camera and here is what we (or my boys) have been up to:

Mitchell and William went to cub scout camp, one thing they did there is make guitars. Here is a picture of William with his completed guitar and you can see Mitchell in the back ground still building his.
This is after the the banquet at Cub Scout Camp it is about 8pm and all are tired. William is holding a foam sword they made at camp and well I just loved what he did with his sweaty hair.

The three boys had a primary activity, the theme was "I Am a Child of God." This is Mitchell with his Earthly home.

This is the only picture I had of Shelby, she is pinching Williams bear chest and she thinks it is really funny.

This was today and here is the quote from Wesley, "Look Mom, I made paw prints!"

SPT - stars and/or stripes forever

The first picture would not post I will try again later.

Two things that are very close to my heart are my country, which the flag represents to me, and my family. This is my son Mitchell holding the flag and then raising the flag at cub scout day camp.

Wordless Wesley, I mean Wednesday

Picture of Wesley taken by Mitchell

The Best Made Plans

We had a Birthday Party for a friend at the Spray Park on the other side of town last night. It started at 6pm and we were going to bring the Solis' with us. So the plan was that at 5 pm we eat, we leave at 5:20 and head to the Solis house and we would be to the park by 6, no problem. Sounds easy enough, at 5 pm I started to walk to the garage. I was going to call the boys to come in and eat, everything was going according to plan. Before I got to the garage door, the door flew open with Mitchell yelling there is a "Rattle Snake in our Garage"

I then rushed out the garage to find my neighbor already there. She got her husband and we decided it looked like the snake they had in there yard last year. Which was a rattle snake, so we called animal control. While we waited for animal control we had to keep a visual on the snake. So we waited and waited watching the snake. Finally (only about 20 or so minutes later), animal control came. They said it was not a Rattle Snake but a Bull Snake (they are harmless by the way).

So we ran inside it was now 5:35 and started to eat! We ran out the door on our way to pick up the Solis kids about 15 minutes later. I phoned Windy (their mom) and said I didn't bring the address or directions could she get them for me off the computer. We got to the Solis' and Windy handed me a map off the invitation. The kids got in the car and ran to the other side of town. When we got to the spot on the map there was no Spray Park, nothing even close! So I called Windy again and she googled the address and it was in a different part of town. She gave me verbal directions and off we went. The party was from 6-8pm. We got there at 6:45 pm. But even though we were late the kids had a GREAT time!!!!

Tobias trying to throw Mitchell into the water

And of course, Cake and Ice Cream!

I found the time between 5pm and 6:45 to be very stressful. However, my kids had the time of their life. They loved finding the snake and waiting for animal control. They even got to pet the snake. They enjoyed singing Starwars melodys at the top of their lungs with Peter and Emily in the car and they loved the Spray Park. Overall, they had a wonderful evening.

SPT - The Emblemof the Land I Love

The SPT for this week is "the emblem of the land i love."

I chose this picture of Wesley. If you look at his shirt or the reflection of his shirt in the car it has the flag on it. This is my favorite Patriotic picture and yes I took this one. I know I need to try to have a piece of me in the picture, so Wesley was made with half of my genes. Therefore, there is a little of me in the picture :-)

Thankful Sunday

I am thankful for Greg. I didn't have a recent picture of him by himself, so this one with William will have to do. I am thankful that he is a righteous Priesthood holder, that he magnifies his callings, does his home teaching, and is a good example to our children. I am thankful that he is a hard worker and that he loves to spend time with his family. I am thankful the he works 5 minutes away so I get to see him most days at lunch. I am thankful that he loves me, I love him, and that we have a beautiful family together. Greg doesn't like to be the center of attention, but since he doesn't check this blog very often I think I will be able to get away with this.
