Great Expectations

Here is a picture of my new Washer and Dryer. I have been so excited about this new purchase. The old washer was tearing up our clothes. The new washer hold about three times as much as the old washer. Do you know how much time that will save me in a day!!!The delivery people said they would be here today between 1-5. So I waited not so patiently until about 5:45. Then I started making calls. They showed up at about 6:15. I was so excited, this was it!!! They decided they wanted to bring in through the back sliding glass door. I asked the guy "Are you sure it will fit through the door?" He said"Yeah, it will fit." Well guess what, it didn’t fit. However, they managed to gouge both sides of my new washer. Therefore, I have a very lonely new dryer. I hope to have a new washer to go with it in 3-5 business days. I have a really wonderful neighbor that let me use her washer this evening. Then the clothes came back over here for a dry.

Murphy’s law - everything that can go wrong, will. Well after I got my first load of clothes going in my neighbors washer. I ordered a Dion’s pizza and ran off to pick it up. When I got there they had made me a medium deep dish pizza. Which may sound great, however, I ordered a large not deep dish pizza. So I got to sit at Dions and wait for them to make me another pizza. We ended up eating at 8:15. Wesley got tired and put himself to bed before we got to eat. I have a feeling he is going t wake up really hungry!!!!

Happy Easter Everyone!

I wanted to take a picture of all my kids dressed up for Easter, however, when I got home from Church the boys changed before I had a chance. So here is a picture of Shelby, she is wearing the dress Grandpa Acton bought her for her birthday.

Mitchell Punched My Tooth Out 3/9/08

Mitchell and William were rough housing and guess who's loose tooth was knocked out! William was a little annoyed with Mitchell until I told him that is exactly how Mitchell lost his first two teeth. They got loose and then William knocked them out. That made him feel better about the situation.

Walk N Spin?

Wesley has a Sit N Spin he likes to use. You sit on it and turn yourself round and round. Well Shelby loves to use it too. However, she doesn't sit. She walks around it. Here is a video, unfortunately she is going really slow. She can go pretty fast until the camera comes out, then she has goes slow or not at all!!!! I was lucky to catch this one, the other 5 times I tried videoing it she stopped all together.

William's Baptisim

William's Baptism went very well. However, we had one child that felt like he should have been the center of attention. Can you guess who that was? Greg and William

We could not keep Shelby's shoes on her, however that is okay because she thought they made a delightful chew toy.

Thankful Sunday

My friend Windy does Thankful Sunday. She posts little thing she is thankful for on Sunday. I really like that idea so here is mine for today. I am thankful for this mattress pad. Six years ago, when we decided to buy our boys "big boy beds," my mom told us she would buy the bedding. So one day I got a big box and inside was sheets, plastic mattress covers, and three mattress pads. I called my mom and told her that they had sent to many mattress pads and she informed me that she had order three. I reminded her I only had two beds. At that point, she told me that there are times in the middle of the night where I would want an extra mattress pad. Well, this is not the middle of the night it is only 7 pm. But the fact that my 8year old has the stomach flu and I had to change the bed at 6:30 pm, made me extremely thankful for both my extra mattress pad and my mother’s foresight.
