Shelby is 19 months old

Well, I thought I would do a Shelby update for those that live Far and Wide. As you know, Shelby was born at a healthy weight, about 7 ½ pounds. That first year of life she struggled to grow especially in the weight department. Even worse her weight would go up and down which is a no no. Anyhow, when she hit a year old she weight 17 pounds and was wearing 6-9 month clothing, that is a size behind (for you men). She is now 19 months old , that is 7 months later. She has gained another 10 pounds already!!! She is wearing 24 months or 2T, that is a size ahead (for you men). She didn’t walk until she was 15 ½ months old but now her favorite game is chase. This last week she has decided to talk. She was saying words before, but now she is a talking and babbling machine. She has also decided that she wants to have her turn saying the prayer. So when I ask "Who wants to say the prayer?" Shelby will raise her hand and say "Me," which is really cute. She is a Dora the Explora fanatic. She also enjoys princess clothes, jewelry, purses, hair things, and telephones.
