We went to visit the Wolf Rescue today, we are trying to get Mitchell's eagle project all set up. We had a great time and got to spend quality time with these gorgeous animals. We are going to have to do this project in a couple of Friday afternoons and I am just not sure how that is going to work. Hopefully we can get the support we need. There are about 10 wolfs and wolf crossbreeds. Here are some pictures of our favorites.
Mitchell loved all the animals and if Stephanie said we could touch one, Mitchell was all over them. These two she doesn't keep in cages they just wonder around. Bindi is licking his ear and Milagro is laying down. Mitchell made some friends for life.
William who is scared of big dogs and wolfs and practically begged me not to make him come warmed up to these wonderful animals also. He can't wait to go back for Mitchell's eagle project. This is also Milagro. They followed us all around the sanctuary. Unfortunately, just as we were leaving, William was eaten by the wolves. We will miss him very much.
This is Dadyoe he is a New Mexican Grey Wolf. He was born in the wild. He had never licked anyone but Stephanie before. Notice who he is licking. Greg also pet him and Dadyoe wanted to play with Greg too.
We are in Liberty's pen here and he just loved Mitchell.
