Travel log Day 1

We picked the boys up from school a little early on Thursday and hit the road. Where are we going....... that is the question. On our way we stopped to see our favorite Military Cadet. Andrew is attending NMMI in Roswell. Here is Andrew when we first saw him. He had to sign out and then change into his dress uniform.

We took Andrew out to dinner, then got back on the road. We traveled for another couple of hours until we got to our hotel in Hobbs. On the way we stopped and did a little star gazing. We could see the Milky Way better than I have ever seen it before. I guess that is what happens when you are in the middle of no where.
